You May Stumble, But Don't Fall!

Written by Nichelle Early, Executive Editor
Have you ever experienced a time when you were so intensely focused on where you were going and then all of a sudden you stumbled?  And what is the first thing most people do? We look down or we look back to see what it was that caused us to stumble.  And depending on how fast you were moving, the stumble can be so dramatic, until it could cause one to fall.

The enemy desires to put many things in your path to stop your forward momentum and cause you to stumble.  It is his express purpose to present stumbling blocks of fear, hopelessness and disbelief to cause you to stumble to the point of falling.  It is satan's plan, in this season, to distract you from your purpose in order that you may make the decision to give up and quit.  The design is for you to stumble and fall.  But I want to say to you today, "You May Stumble, But Don't Fall!"

It is inevitable; We are all going to come upon circumstances that will cause us to stumble.  We will all experience, fear, unbelief, and circumstances that shake our faith to the point of stumbling at one point or another.  But the important thing is to know that God has your back. He will never let you fall.

In the bible, Jude verses 24-25 says:

Now unto HIM (emphasis mine) that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Savior be glory and majesty dominion and power both now and ever, Amen.

Again, God will not every allow you to fall.  He will always make a way for you to get your balance and continue forward when you stumble.  But, the question is, are you yet willing to get your balance? "How do I do that?" you may be wondering.

I believe that you can get your balance by:
  • Studying the Word of God
  • Being consistent in prayer
  • Setting aside time to fast
  • Walking in faith
  • Setting our expectations for victory
So remember, "You May Stumble, But Don't Fall." Take your time, stay focus, get your balance and continue forward into all that God has called you to do!

God bless,

Many times in life we have to endure pain, hurt, anger and adverse actions that are no fault of our own. I know far too well about having my life turned upside down due to the acts of others. From the age of 5 until I was 17, I was molested by my father, stepfather, cousins and even the two teenage sisters next door. The actions of those people caused me to become someone that I was never created to be. I began to really resent those people and had reached the point where I hated to see them coming. Molestation is a serious issue that our society or church doesn't really take as seriously as they should. The statistics are astounding and heart wrenching: Find out more inside...
In one way or another, it seems as though many of the people I've encountered lately have been impacted by something that just seems crazy…something that seems as if it has come out of the clear blue to knock you off of your track…you were going along minding your business, doing right, and living right to the best of your ability and then all of a sudden, it seems as though an attack was released against you that you least expected…and to add insult to injury, the attack is just so far from normal that all you can say is this is, "crazy stuff…" Read more inside...
