Her first and probably most influential human teachers were her natural father and mother, who prayed and taught the Word at home each day. She is privileged to stand in ministry with her dad today, Apostle H. Theo Smith. Handcrafted by God for ministry, she also has a long-standing relationship with, and submits to the authority of her mentor, teacher and "spiritual mother", Dr. Juanita Bynum. Prophetess Smith understands that during these end times she continues in the ministry that Jesus Christ began to both do and teach, and must be guided by the ultimate Teacher, the Holy Spirit.
In the year 2000, after acquiring both a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate from Cornell University, Prophetess Smith founded Rivers of Living Water International Ministries (ROLWIM). Although she has been teaching since 1991, she began traveling evangelistically in 2002, and was licensed and ordained in 2004. This "Master surgeon of the Word" firmly believes in the supremacy and pre-eminence of the Word of God. Accordingly, she enjoys preaching the Word with boldness and the power of the Holy Ghost, knowing that the Word works. Prophetess Smith operates with a prophetic healing anointing to minister to the hearts and conditions of God's created beings. Her job is to be a pure vessel that allows the Holy Spirit to manifest signs, wonders and miracles for God's glory.
Prophetess Smith also utters prophetic declarations concerning God's revealed will to the corporate Body of Christ. A principal forum of release takes place each Saturday morning, as Prophetess Smith and a team of prophetic intercessors conduct a prayer call with ministry gifts throughout this nation. ROLWIM further supports this mandate through monthly newsletters, print publications and intercessory prayers. Prophetess Smith continues to propagate the gospel as a radio announcer on 1240AM WGBB Gospel All Night Thru the Morning radio program, and as a regular invited guest speaker on the bi-lingual Radio Alerta network. Additionally, Prophetess Smith has been privileged to pursue her passion and build the Body of Christ as a gospel music and ministry consultant. Without a doubt, she has an earnest desire to finish her course with Joy, while always remembering that the greatness is God's glory, and all of it belongs to Him. "This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes." Psalm 118:23.

In spite of being childless and with no childrearing moments to celebrate, Elisabeth was faithful in her duty towards God. Both she and Zacharias, although well stricken, were well situated for God to breathe upon their lives and upon their bodies. God was going to do a new thing for this faithful, righteous, and blameless couple. God was about to shine forth his favor upon this unsuspecting couple, and grant unto them a dream come true, which they thought, was a dream deferred, and God can do the same for you! Let me first say that it's your time and it's your turn! This is the season of the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:31), yielding forth fire, glory, greater, increase, acceleration, etc. However, it's not short of warfare… and we thank God for all of it!
