Prophetess Octavia is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Her intense four year biblical and spiritual leadership training under Chief -overseer, Bishop elect and Prophet Rodney Walker of God Is In Control Church located in Waldorf, MD allotted her ordination in 2001.  It was then that she fully accepted the call to ministry and the prophetic mantle upon her life.   To date Prophetess Octavia has served in the areas of evangelism, exhortation, and teaching; and she has ministered both domestically and internationally.

A current member of the Faith Fellowship Ministries Pastoral Mentorship Program under Pastor David T. Demola in Sayreville, NJ, and a member of Covenant Ministries International, Prophetess Octavia honors being accountable to God and other leaders who sow into her life.  With already a B.A. and MBA, she is currently seeking advanced education in ministry because her love for the study of God's word is continuous. Her one and only true goal in life is that "The fathers will be done" (Matt 26:42), and she has demonstrated herself to be a pure vessel, "sold-out," and "totally committed."

She is a doer of the word and loves ministering the gospel in a way that invokes worship and the presence of God, in spirit and in truth.  "Power-Packed" and pure, Prophetess Octavia teaches the word of God in an effective and life challenging manner.  She furthermore encourages listeners to believe in the witnessing power of the Holy Spirit and the fulfillment of God's word; by which she stands firm to proclaim.

Today she is a published writer and the Visionary of Beaconess Ministries International, Inc. (BMI); a ministry established to preach good tidings unto the meek; bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.  (Isaiah 61:1)  BMI is a ministry after God's own heart commissioned to root out, to pull down, to destroy, to throw down, to build, and to plant... (Jeremiah 1:10); both domestically and beyond the globe.
