The Bible speaks of a WOMAN coming and anointing Jesus with spikenard. For years people argued that it was the same woman that did both anointings, but the Word of God clearly lets us know that there were two women - one is identified as Mary in the book of John and the other is identified as a SINNER! Why Spikenard? Why two anointings? Why did it have to be women? Why? Why? Why?
Locusts eat up and destroy everything in their paths but the thing that is really to be admired about them is that do all that they do with
unity. You never ever hear about ONE INSECT...whenever you hear about LOCUST, they are always described as a collective unit that works in concert to bring about a purpose that will benefit them as a whole. I believe God is calling us to act like LOCUSTS! Find out more inside...
It seems the Enemy of the Kingdom of God is fanning the Church of Jesus Christ into a deep sleep. Far too many are resting on the laurels of passivity, acceptability and compacency but there is a TRUMPET being sounded calling, summoning, and yes COMMANDING the people of God to pick up their weapons and return to the battlefield. The TRUMPET God has raised to His lips are the Ministers of God. He is BLOWING FRESH WIND into every preacher, prophetess and evangelist and it is a WIND HE IS COMMANDING US TO BLOW UPON AND INTO THE PEOPLE UNDER THE SOUND OF OUR VOICE! Read more inside...
There is a DIVINE MANDATE from the Throne for the Women of God to reach out and TOUCH THE UNTOUCHABLES! The woman with the issue of blood, I believe, is one of the most misrepresented women in all of the Bible. We often hear her talked about from the moment she appears on the public stage pressing her way to Jesus, but in order to fully understand and appreciate this mighty woman of God, you have to look at her from three vantage points...read more inside...
One of my favorite passages of scripture in all of the Holy Writ is 2 Chronicles chapter 20. I love this chapter because it speaks of King Jehoshophat as a godly leader who showcases both his humanity and his champion-sized faith. Often people don't want the called of God to admit that they have problems because they have mighty anointings on their lives but truth be told, those who have high anointings on their lives face hard tests and great opposition and yet they preach the Word. Faithful anointed daughters of the Gospel are often sent to the desert land. Some end up there because the Lord has spoken to their husbands to set up a work in a desert place. Some end up there because their spiritual covering sends them to set up a work in the driest of places. Some end up there because the Lord Himself has spoken to their heart, souls and spirits and has commanded and commissioned them to become married to a dry place. Many who look on the assignment and the locale of the work begin to scoff, laugh and belittle the woman who has testified of the rich choice of God of her who finds herself in the barrenness of the desert. Even the woman of God who has been sent to the desert, can become heartbroken, discouraged and disenchanted because she knows of a surety that the Lord has used her mightily in the past. The hours a preacher spends praying, studying, fasting, listening for His Voice, meditating and writing are many. It is a hard task. It takes discipline, patience, diligence, stealing away and scholarship to truly prepare to go before the people of God. One of my professors taught us, "For every half hour you stand before the people preaching you should have spent a minimum of seven hours in prayer and seven hours in preparation and study." If every preacher committed to that kind of disciplined preparation to the Divine Art and Science of Preaching we would always hear a Rhema Word from the Throne of God. Read more inside...
There is a clarion call from the throne to the heart of every woman preacher and that is the call to fall. Fall? Yes FALL. God hath issued a call for every woman preacher to fall on her face and pray. Find out more about your assignment inside!
There is a dangerous trend arising among Preaching Women. There are a few who now believe that the only way for them to be successful in preaching ministry is to emasculate themselves. Nothing could be further from the truth! There is no need whatsoever to forsake the lace and grace that mantles your life to be authoritative, powerful or a force to be reckoned with. Let us look at a few case studies in the Word of God...read more inside!
What pastors and other church leaders usually mean when they talk about stewardship is giving. But don't assume that's all there is to it. Stewardship is just as much about living as it is about giving. Good stewardship is about being faithful in using all your resources-not only your money and possessions but your time and talent as well. Stewardship is a duty, but it is also an act of worship (see 2 Corinthians 8:1-5 and Philippians 4:18). How can we look at all that God has poured out into our lives and not want to use those things to please him? Read more inside...
